Week 15 - Operational Architecture on Capella.

Image
For this week, we design the operational architecture of the automatic bread-making machine using Capella. The steps of the process are followed on the Capella website. The first one is the Operational Entity Breakdown.  The operational actors in this section are the oven and mixing machine. These operational actors are going to interact with the operational entities. On the right is the operational entities. The ingredients below like sugar, salt, yeast, and water are contained in the dough. The next one is operational Capabilities. In this section, the operational capability is named “Make Bread”. Below the operational capability are the operational entities. The operational capability is showing the involvement of the mixing machine and the oven.          Next is the Operational Entity Scenario. In this process,  We define and allocate the activities to the operational entities or actors and then we define al...

Week 14 - Final Report Discussion.

In this week we have discussed for the final presentation on Week16. Also we discussed for the report. Our team need to be ready what we have been propose for the proposal presentation last time.                 First part of discussion with Dr. Zaki was the tentative about the final presentation. Our team is on Friday of presentation. We all agree about it.                 Second part of discussion about the final report on the next week of after presentation. The submission due date is on 5/6/2021.                 In conclusion, we all need to be prepared and complete all the remaining assessments. Just a few weeks from now to be completed. We are hope everything smoothy done.

Week 13 - Final Report Brief.

For this week, Sir Zul make a briefing about the final presentation and final report on the project of the subject System Engineering. The details as below: Description of tasks for the final presentation and final report   Final presentation ·          From your proposal presentation, revise it if necessary of the system that you are going to develop. ·          You must have an application for your system. ·          Use Capella to perform operational analysis. You must present in the final presentation the operational analysis with as much detail necessary. ·          The other stages system analysis, logical architecture and physical architecture just mentioned briefly in your presentation. ·          Ideally at the end of all th...

Week 12 - System Architacture Presentation

Image
For this week, we create a system architecture based on our project Automatic Bread Making Machine and present to Sir Zaki during class. The system architecture consists of three types which is functional architecture, physical architecture, and allocated architecture.   Functional Architecture Above shown Functional Architecture table and flowchart of the Automatic Bread Making Machine. From this, it is easy to understand how the machine working from the start with providing a power supply to the machine until the end where the data from the machine is transferred to Cloud.   Physical Architecture The physical Architecture table above shows the list of components used in the Automatic Bread Making Machine project. 12 physical elements of the system in this project.   Allocated Architecture The allocated Architecture table and flowchart show the combination and interaction of Functional Architecture and Physical Architecture. The m...

Week 11 - System Architecting

Image
For this week, we learned about system architecting  is the conceptual model that defines the structure, behavior, and more views of a  system . An  architecture  description is a formal description and representation of a  system , organized in a way that supports reasoning about the structures and behaviors of the  system .  Architecture is associated with structures, their relationships, and expectation for their design. This applies to complex systems, such as aircraft, power plants, and spacecraft, as much as buildings.       There are three types of architecture. The first is functional architecture. Functional  architecture  is an  architectural  model that identifies system  function  and their interactions. It defines how the functions will operate together to perform the system mission. Generally, more than one  architecture  can satisfy the requirements.  B...

Week 10 - Capella Tutorial.

Image
For  this week, we learn how to using Capella Project during the tutorial period. Dr. Zaki was asking each group member to do the tutorial.  We use this application because it can match the criteria at the end of the project based on the format of Prof. Zul given.           The Capella workbench provides methodological guidance, including an engineering workflow with clear modeling objectives, and an advanced set of productivity tools. It helps us to do the block diagram for our project. We can see the advantages of these applications.                Capella is a concrete illustration of an open and field-proven approach that can solve major concrete industrial challenges. Its creators decided to capitalize on Eclipse Modeling and its ecosystem to implement the adaptable and extensible workbench that could both support the MBSE approach it required and fit the s...

Week 9 - Proposal Presentation

Image
For this week, Sir Zaki was given to us for researching on startup of the technology machine. This technology machine needs to improve from a Programmable Logic Controller to a microcontroller. The microcontroller would combine with the sensor, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning or Artificial Intelligence into the project.             A Programmable Logic Controller, or PLC, is a ruggedized computer used for industrial automation. These controllers can automate a specific process, machine function, or even an entire production line. The PLC receives information from connected sensors or input devices, processes the data, and triggers outputs based on pre-programmed parameters. Depending on the inputs and outputs, a PLC can monitor and record run-time data such as machine productivity or operating temperature, automatically start and stop processes, generate alarms if a machine malfunctions, and more. Programmable L...
